Our Story— The Key to a really good invention comes down to creating something that will, without question –Solve a Problem… The Problem I kept encountering through my 38 years of Phlebotomy experience, had to do with maintaining good organization with the tools and the supplies.  The final straw that started me on my journey to create a solution, came when I dropped my Phlebotomy Tray.  It happened twice, on two different occasions, in the same facility.  It happened around 0300 in the early AM hours. This facility was the most challenging Nursing Home we had on contract.  Suffice it to say, I was struggling to maintain my cool and not lose it when I was down on my hands and knees, trying to gather all of that stuff back onto my tray.  The second time it happened, lit a spark for me to come up with a better way to stay organized as I made my rounds with patients.  Maintaining good organization with the tools and the supplies had always been something I tried to create for myself and for those who worked for me. When I dropped the tray the second time, my journey started to create a device to solve that challenging problem and other key problems as well.  After a myriad of Trial, Error and Experimentation, I created a Device that I named Lab-Buggy…

Lab-Buggy was awarded a Utility Patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in January of 2021. Lab-Buggy is an ultra-light-weight, collapsible, self-contained, Phlebotomy/Medical workstation.  The Buggy stands up on its own, Leans forward, Locks open into its working position, provides all your tools and supplies at the ready, and then Collapses on its own.  It then Ergonomically rolls Behind You on Two Quiet Running Wheels as You make your rounds.  Lab-Buggy makes Direct Patient Contact for front line Medical Personnel –Safer, Faster, Easier and So Much More Fun to Accomplish… I Love what I do.  I have been a Phlebotomist since April of 1983.  I hope to share my many stories and the experience I have accumulated with others out there…

Others out there who Love what they do, Helping, Caring for and Laughing with their Patients every day…

I Hope You Try Your Best to…”Lean, Lock and Roll into what You Do,,,”  Steven…
